What is the News Trading Rule (2-Step only)?

On funded 2-Step accounts, no new positions may be opened and no existing positions may be closed within 5 minutes before or after any high-impact news release.

• Pre-set SL/TP orders still execute automatically
• Pending orders can still be cancelled during the window
• The restriction also extends to the duration of relevant high-impact speeches, not just scheduled data releases

There is currently no documented equivalent restriction for 1-Step accounts — news trading is not called out as restricted for that program.
